Can derma rolling damage a tattoo or make it disappear? (expert advice as well as anecdotal, most welcome!)?

-

I have just started using a derma roller treatment for my face and the results are already very good – my skin looks much more even and acne scarring is almost invisible…so I will continue with this. I want to try using the derma roller for stretchmarks though. I understand this works best with a more pressurised and longer needle size (1.5 to 2mm seem to be what most recommend) so I am planning to try it with some anaesthetic cream (which I don’t need for my face). I have stretch marks on my hips and top of my legs and bottom…so that part will take a while and some coordination! But also I have stretchmarks on my boobs but my boobs are tattooed with a tribal design (black outlines with pastel colour shading) and I’m concerned that if I try working on the stretchmarks on my boobs with a weekly session or something, it might affect my tattoo or cause damage to it or make it disappear??? Any advice on this or experiences of this would be most helpful.

What worries me is that derma rolling is meant to trigger the body to release collagen for repair and break down old scarring/collagen concentration…and I vaguely think that when you get a tattoo, it is held in place by the collagen as ‘heals’…I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of some peoples’ bodies rejecting tattoo ink because their collagen didn’t hold onto it??

I almost think I’m answering my own question here! But I would like advice of derma rolling or tattooist or people who work with tattoo removal if possible!

Look forward to hearing from you XX

PS…this is a duplicate post so I could put in two different categories)
I haven’t had any response yet – there must be someone out there who knows enough about tattoos…or enough about derma rolling to have an idea. Please respond best acne removal treatments

I answered your other post in much more detail. There are some tips on my website http://dermaeraze.co.uk

Whats the best product for my skin- please answer?

-

Okay I’ve been to the dermatolgist on many occasions and he jst prescribes topical treatments i’ve already tryed differin, tazorac, and benzaclin and they all dryed and peeled my skin. I absolutley hated it,because i already have dry skin to begin with. I want to get the Clean&Clear Acne Kit b/c i’ve heard such good reviews about it. But my skin is sensitive you think it’s best for me. I hate the peeling and everything. I’ve tryed neutrogena oil free acne wash and after a week using it i had rashes and peeling it was bad. So is it as strong ? Tell me what you can. Thank you

Arbonne’s not so basic line. It’s made for dry skin and oily skin because it works beneath the surface to work with your sebaious glands to do the job your skin needs. It is pure safe and botanical and as close to nature as you can get. Only natural products you could ever find you would have to refigerate and arbonne is so close it’s not funny our shelve life is very small because of this use it twice a day and you will see a huge inpoverment on your skin and love the feel of it once more it is going to put the natual ph balance back into your skin because that is what is does. You’ve tried everthing else why not go for it you have nothing to loose and everthing to gain by these proven results money back products. Good luck if you don’t listen read labels if you don’t know the 16 letter words google them.

What is the best acne treatment product for a 13 year old?

-

My daughter is 13 years old, and she occasionally gets breakouts all over her chin, forehead, and under her nose. Most of the time it’s manageable, just a few pimples here and there, but now it’s causing her low self-esteem, which I try to help her with. I don’t want her to be upset or to withdraw, and I’m worried. I know it’s just puberty, but most of her friends don’t even get any zits, which I understand makes her upset even more. Are there any inexpensive products we can try that will help? Thanks!

never use the over the counter meds they burn your face up by drying it out see a dermatologist but try purpose soap first and see if that will help.
